In this position you will perform inventory duties dedicated to tool and parts distribution. The tools will be loaned to employees. When tools are received, they should be inspected for wear or defects and then recorded and stored for later use in appropriate locations. When tools are ordered, the Attendant may also retrieve them and assemble tool kits based on requirements.

• Issues product, tools and/or equipment to site employees; documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items
• Enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries (e.g., inventory levels or delivery schedules); documents discrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice on appropriate corrective action
• Ensure each day to process each transaction from crib inventory to machine inventory correctly
• Inspects and measures tools/equipment for defects, wear and tear and reports damage or wear to supervisor
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment
• May repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required
• Continuously anticipate tooling needs at each work space to be prepped prior to job setup need
• Uses experience in CNC machining to collaborate with and assist machinists and programmers
• Deliver tools and equipment to workers
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years directly related experience
• General knowledge of machine shop and tool room practice
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Non-Exempt Salary Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $33,280 to $50,000. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
