Bright Start is known for its great education, excellent staff, and most of all, personal service to all of our children’s parents. A volunteer board of directors, consisting of community members and parents, oversees the school’s operation. Each and every employee assumes a very important role in insuring that children and families feel safe and comfortable here. We serve as a mission of the Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church as well as a service to the Topsham/Brunswick community. You will become an integral part of our center's success.

We are currently hiring for a full time teacher in our 18 month- 2.5 year old class and one full time teacher in our 2.5-3.5 year old classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a classroom of up to 7 children
• Plan and execute age appropriate crafts and activities
• Provide for children's basic needs for eating, napping, toileting/diapering, hygiene, and dressing.
• Colaborate with other staff in a team approach to provide daily activities and services to our children and families.
• Help maintain classroom equipment, toys and supplies.
• Carry out assignments as delegated from head teacher and director.
• Complete 30 hours of training per year per licensing regulations.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings once a month.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
