Tissue Logistics and Inventory Manager
Schedule: Mon - Fri, traditional EST hours
Location: Onsite in Iselin, NJ

We build systems that take massive amounts of genomic data, combine it with the world's scientific literature, add to it years of rigorously curated results, and package it all neatly for our scientists to consume. It's a lot of information. As the data gets bigger, our systems need to get better and faster. That's where you come in.
We are looking for a passionate and focused Tissue Logistics and Inventory Manager to join Invitae and coordinate the acquisition and return of biological samples as well as maintain accurate inventory of all consumables and reagents within our New Jersey laboratory.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate the acquisition of tissue samples from pathology labs by reviewing relevant reports to select the appropriate samples for testing
- Manage return shipments of tissue samples when testing is completed to various destinations
- Perform regular inventory checks of laboratory reagents and consumables and ensure that counts within inventory management systems are accurate
- Communicate with management to ensure necessary levels of inventory to support laboratory production
- Maintain compliance with QA programs, ensuring policies and procedures are up to date with current tissue logistics and inventory practices.
- Maintain CLIA and CAP compliance regarding tissue shipments
What you bring:
- 1+ years of relevant office management experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Experience interacting and coordinating with clients to manage logistics

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
