Therapy Coordinator

The Serenity Center is presently seeking to fill a field staff position in several of the assisted living homes where we provide psychotherapy services to the residents who live there.

Job responsibilities include:

• Working with facility referral sources to get written referrals for treatment.

• Liaising with our clinician who provides the psychotherapy services and arranging a schedule of days/times with them.

• Meeting the clients and working to develop excellent rapport! Getting all intake documents signed by clients, scanned and uploaded into their electronic medical record (EMR). We will provide you with a laptop and training.

• Scheduling clients in advance for their sessions, providing appointment cards and lots of reminders! Sending the schedule of treatment to clinician in advance.

• Excellent communication skills are necessary to succeed at this task, as well as having compassion and skill at engaging seniors and getting clients to their sessions on time!

• We will provide you with all necessary training and support! The only thing you need to bring is your amazing personality!

• The most important and essential aspect of this job is developing rapport with the clients so that on the day of treatment it is seamless for you to find them and escort them to the therapy office.

• The goal is for the clinician to see clients back-to-back throughout the day with no downtime in-between sessions
