Job Duties:
- Perform audits of unit/department/division systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Evaluate organizational controls over resources for compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, and grants.
- Review operations or programs to determine if they meet objectives and values.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of a function, recommend opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Collect information, identify discrepancies and anomalies, and provide recommendations for management action.
- Prepare documents to support audit projects and communicate audit findings and recommendations.
- Build client relationships, network with other audit professionals, and apply laws and regulations to identify discrepancies in policies and procedures.
- Use computer-assisted audit techniques and conduct investigations of suspected irregular conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of audit experience
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance or relevant field.
- Aerospace industry experience preferred.
- Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant preferred.
