PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Site Reliability Engineer II role is responsible for taking operational excellence to the next level. The primary responsibility of this senior position will be to design and implement key systems and solutions that enables great customer experiences. This will include managing and monitoring key business systems in cloud and automate important operational process to drive improved sustainment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and architect software and systems to manage cloud platform infrastructure and applications.
• Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
• Work with Digital Engineering Teams to identify and solve issue driving system availability and reliability.
• Architect and groom team members to achieve standards in Coding Infrastructure as Code automation across CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with diverse teams spanning all organizational levels.
• Model and act in accordance with MGM mission and values.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related technical field; or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) + years of experience managing commercial cloud and backend software products and services at enterprise to internet scale or experience in a related area.
