Short Description:

Technical Specialist 2 needed to work closely with designated DPS IT Staff on the Business Application Services System (BASS).

Complete Description:

The selected Consultant will work closely with designated DPS IT staff on the Business Application Services System (BASS). The TS2 will liaise with BASS stakeholders as needed and also with other DPS units as required. Major components of BASS that may be worked on include:

• Point of Sale system
• DX Application
• Gate System
• Queue System
• Remittance system
• Financial system
• Vehicle Registration issuance
• Driver's License issuance

During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource's experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror's proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS.

• Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.
• Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.

Requirements:

• 10 years technical development experience
• 5 years verifiable experience as LEAD worker in Business Application Services System (BASS) development.

Skills:

• Technical Development Experience – Required - 10 Years

• Must have strong communication/leadership skills
• Must have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.
