Job description

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

1. Schedules service/material requirements based on needs and places purchase orders with vendors
2. Develops new supply sources where vendors are inadequate
3. Negotiates account/credit terms and blanket purchase orders when appropriate and monitors cost during the time period
4. Ensures Investment Budget rules are followed to ensure adherence to policy
5. Checks requisitions for appropriate approval and account numbers
6. Works closely with other teams within the plant to ensure proper type of materials
7. Traces delinquent arrivals of parts
8. Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics and follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with relevant law
9. Manages the inventory level and may perform other shipping and receiving tasks.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

· High School Diploma

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

· Motivated, Driven and Self –Starter

· Proven track record of being good leader, where they have demonstrated emphasis on safety, quality and doing what is best for the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
