The Apple Design Team is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Support Manager to support the Industrial Design Group. This role is primarily focused on project and team management, and also includes hands on user and backend infrastructure support. The candidate will need to be willing and able to switch between these contexts seamlessly, and will need to thrive in a high touch, fast-paced, and dynamic creative environment.
Key Qualifications
- Prior experience in leading or managing a tight-knit technical support team
- Collaborate cross functionally with a variety of teams throughout Apple, as well as with third-party vendors
- Excel at multitasking and have the ability to prioritize high visibility tasks accordingly
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and manage team members’ prioritizations
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to flourish in a continuously evolving technical environment
- Enterprise System Administrator experience (preferably in a creative environment)
- Knowledge of SCCM, virtualization systems, general enterprise networking/storage, data center management, and a deep understanding of how Windows, macOS & Linux cross communicate and their limitations
- Familiarity with domain administration including Active Directory and group policy management, along with license server administration
- Well versed in video and audio technologies and systems
Description
This individual will lead a team with deep technical knowledge and a passion for personalized support. Responsibilities include managing and tracking of development and system release schedules, as well as driving internal app bug fixes, feature requests and stability improvements with our internal development teams. They will drive core infrastructure needs to support the Design Team, coordinating with a variety of individuals both within and outside the team, with the goal of ensuring the design process continues to flow smoothly.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,000 and $230,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
