Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. An undergraduate degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing, or related field is preferred.
- The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical writer or communications specialist.
- Working as a writer in a technical field
- Expert in writing for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Background of technical platforms and languages
- Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with content in multiple mediums
- Experience working in a global environment
- Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, willing to tackle new challenges and self-start
- Work independently, without close supervision
Responsibilities:
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to produce and maintain documentation, including global security policies, standards, organizational strategy, quarterly newsletters, organizational intranet content, training documentation, etc.
- Build and maintain interactive SharePoint to go beyond traditional documentation and boost user experience
- Act as an editor to ensure consistency in documentation across the organization
- Oversee internal communications
- Answer inquiries and manage online content
