First Step Marketing is seeking an experienced Houston area events Team Lead, with previous event activation/brand ambassador experience, who is comfortable with approaching people at events, talking through products and/or websites and promotional offers.

FSM is activating a large promotional program across Houston, Texas with and other surrounding Houston area suburbs: Alvin, Baytown, Conroe, Crosby, Hitchcock, League City, Missouri City, Santa Fe and Stafford.

Overview: This is a contract to Full-Time position (after 30 day review period) with opportunity for benefits. Event locations will vary each week within the Houston areas. The Team Leads will be responsible for professionally managing communications between a variety of contacts, tracking inventory, successfully executing events weekly, managing a team of Brand Ambassadors that will help achieve client goals and accurately report recap metrics for all event activations.

Responsibilities include: scheduling and managing Brand Ambassadors, reporting to Houston Field Manager, activating at on-site local events (Wed-Sunday), outdoor based activities and customer appreciation tactics, sourcing and managing community partnerships, event planning and recapping.

Applicants MUST have previous Brand Ambassador/Promotional experience with strong organizational and self time management skills. Applicants MUST reside in the Houston area and have a clean driving record, Applicants MUST have a vehicle that carries event site elements and assets that include a 10x10 tent and table, and several boxes. This position involves driving, walking, and event set up on a daily/weekly basis.

Schedule: Wednesdays- Sundays, Full-Time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
