Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring a Team Coordinator for our HEDIS Quality Improvement team!
This is a Full Time position with day shift hours and great benefits!
Remote opportunities available in Virginia and North Carolina
In Person meetings and training may be required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors in Nursing, Masters of Health Services Administration, MSW, MBA or Masters of Health Administration
- RN License required (if applicable)
- 3 years Clinical experience
- HEDIS experience required
- Previous leadership experience (2 years exp)
- 3 years related experience
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assumes responsibility, accountability, provides leadership for daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and team member supervision in assigned area
- Facilitates staff management in a multi skilled, multi functional environment and coordinates quality improvement activities, resolution of customer service issues, and management/monitoring of resource utilization
- Provide project management and facilitation, as well as, clinical oversight and support for the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Provide consultation and education within the division and across the System in the area of Performance Improvement and/or Peer Review
- Assist in maintaining liaison with external agencies in the area of quality, peer review, and accreditation surveys/inspections.

Duties:

- Serves as a resource to staff and assumes work assignments when needed to provide appropriate coverage.
