TELEWORK

This position is a member of our Border and Permian Basin Division.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a part of the division’s Border and Permian Basin team, our Environmental Field Investigator will play a key role in achieving TCEQ’s mission. You would use your skills and experience to:
- Perform work in the field of air, water, or waste pollution for the Harlingen regional office.
- Conduct inspections, surveys, and follow-up investigations; prepare reports which documents field activities and observed conditions.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and prepare papers regarding studies involving environmental subjects.
- Provide assistance to the public, regulated community, and other interested groups regarding the application of appropriate regulations.
- Assist with collecting and analyzing environmental samples.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in a natural or physical science, engineering, environmental studies, or related field generally preferred, but not required.
OR
Four years of full-time experience in the field of environmental activities directly related to the examples of work performed.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
