Tax Manager – Mostly remote role, flexible schedule

• The CFO is hoping to groom the Tax Manager for their role in the next 1-3 years.

What the Tax Manager will do:

• Tax provisions
• Manage and ensure internal control compliance to mitigate risk
• Supervise accounting tax staff
• Domestic tax work for the US, Canadian and Mexican offices as well

What the company needs in a Tax Manager :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax or related degree
• 5+ years tax experience
• Domestic tax experience is required
• Tax provisions and billing experience with tax are required
• Public accounting tax is a plus
• CPA is preferred but not required
• Telecommunications experience a PLUS but not required
• Familiarity with Avalara is a plus but not required
• Tech savvy – must be able to do pivot tables in Excel
• Management experience is a plus
