Tax Preparer/ Accountant

Up to $80,000 per year depending on experience

We are looking for conscientious candidates to join a firm. They consider themselves to be a small to mid-size firm (8 staff members) with a lot of experience in a variety of areas. Candidates need to be experienced in business and individual tax return preparation as well as all phases of bookkeeping. Excellent time management skills and communication skills are essential.

• The firm culture is team-oriented, congenial, and collaborative. They were established in 1960 and have an excellent reputation in our community.
• Compensation is based on experience. Estimated hours will range from 35 to 45 hours per week.

Skills of the Tax Accountant

• Work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures for multiple companies
• Familiarity with accounting software packages (quickbooks)
• Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Keen attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

• Monday to Friday (m-th 8a-5p and fri 8a-230p)

• Associates Degree
