Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business, key opportunities and challenges, and related talent needs of division(s) to ensure alignment of our talent strategies and programs to the broader organizational goals
- Promote cultural awareness and global understanding between domestic and global operations
- Lead talent development cycle across division (s) (talent reviews, succession planning and targeted development planning), to grow internal talent pipeline and proactively address gaps
- Develop, strengthen and measure effectiveness of recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies and implementation plans
- Partner with leadership at all levels of the organization to pro-actively gather feedback from team members (i.e. listening sessions, town halls, check-ins)
- Coach and mentor both leaders and team members through challenging conversations
- Surface meaningful opportunities for skill development (both soft and technical skills); partner with leaders and People team partners to provide needed training/coaching
- Perform analysis on workforce analytics, key talent metrics and qualitative information to inform decisions, set objectives and measure effectiveness
- Continually work to align legacy policies and practices across locations, strengthen People Team effectiveness, and drive consistent team member experience; maintaining a keen focus on providing solutions that are simple for our business to understand/execute, transparent and drive purpose
- In partnership with Corporate Compensation, continually assess the consistency and competitiveness of compensation programs and practices, and take action to address opportunities
- Participate in M&A due diligence processes and acquisition integrations
- Maintain knowledge of domestic and relevant global HR policies, programs, laws and issues, and serve as an advisor to business leaders as needed
- Manage project plans and partner with the business and People Team members to ensure desired outcomes are met
- Act as a change champion, supporting both organization-wide and divisional change efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HR, with demonstrated growth and breadth of experience
- Advanced HR certification a plus
- Ability to think strategically in a complex, dynamic environment
- Possess an intense curiosity for intersections of culture, people and business; quickly able to evaluate and apply new concepts to the work environment
- Excellent communication skills, giving you the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the business
- Strength in building relationships with key stakeholders to drive integration of various People Team initiatives and programs
- Strong ability to coach, develop and inspire team members
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency, with an ability to work quickly and maintain a high attention to detail
- Ability to organize and translate talent data into a cohesive story and drive strategic workforce insights and action
- Ability to align business strategy and talent initiatives across functions, processes, and teams; capable of translating a vision and strategy into clear actionable goals
- Possess a strong aptitude for continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration to achieve goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This is an office position that will require travel to a manufacturing facility. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.
