Smithbucklin is seeking an experienced Talent Development Manager to manage company-wide learning and development projects and programs. This position reports to the Talent Development Director and will collaborate within HR and across units. There are no direct reports for this role. We are looking for an individual who will contribute to the evolution and growth of our programming and improve employee experience.

What You Will Do
- Facilitate and support learning and development projects including:
- Our people manager effectiveness program (a DDI certified program), which is a blended learning series of online, virtual and in-person learning sessions.
- Manager basics and our coaching series targeted to new and developing managers.
- The development of skill-focused learning courses and learning paths for targeted competencies in support our strategic plan.
- Learning paths and courses for senior managers and above.
- Support a variety of courses and programming in partnership with team members, including new employee orientation, onboarding, Smithbucklin 101.
- Collaborate with the talent development team to improve the quality and effectiveness of our curriculum.
- Collaborate with employee-led groups and committees to drive employee engagement and support.
- Participate in other TD projects as needed.

- You enjoy interacting with employees at all levels, don’t shy away from group facilitation and know how to inject energy and enthusiasm into things – whether it be a project team or small group discussion
Your professional journey looks like this…
- a BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
- Experience facilitating various types of learning courses
- 5+ years of progressive learning and development and/or HR experience
- Experience designing learning courses or programs
- Proven project management experience
