The American Reading Company’s Professional Development team is growing in leaps and bounds, and we’re hiring for a detail-oriented professional who’s fast, accurate, and flexible.

The majority of this in-house (in our King of Prussia office) position consists of proofreading documentation of professional development sessions submitted by our coaches. These are reports that will go to schools and school district offices, and we require that they be informative, complete, consistent, and polished.

  Proofread professional development reports from the field
• Collaborate with team’s head copy editor/proofreader to keep work flowing efficiently
• Utilize team’s established shared drive system for tracking and exchanging documents, ensuring absolutely nothing falls through the cracks
• Assist when needed with other proofreading responsibilities
• File documents electronically
