Shift: Full-Time
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 (DOE)

Position Summary:
This position rolls up to the Data Tools pod within the Data Systems & Operations department. In this position, you will serve as a developer for an in-house workflow automation tool that is a critical part of Blue Raven Solar's operations process. The current tool is built in Excel with VBA macros, triggered Python scripts, and API integrations.
Essential Duties:
- Lead discovery on new requested features of the current tool
- Maintain the tool through continuous incremental development, QA, and integration
- Craft & establish standard processes for the newly formed Data Tools pod
- Research, design & implement a long-term strategy for the tool, which may include re-developing the tool in an entirely new platform or programming language
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in strong communication & teamwork
- Intermediate VBA experience - 1+ year
- Intermediate Python experience - 1+ year
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with APIs
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
- Other Programming/Software Engineering experience preferred
- Solar Industry experience preferred
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel should be expected with this role as well.
