Starfish Aquatic Club is searching for QUALITY Swim Instructors for locations: Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour (experience based)

The right Swim Instructor candidate SHOULD:

• be Lifeguard certified and/or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certified or similar swim instructor certification
• open and energetic personality
• able to work as a member of a team
• able to communicate effectively with parents/students
• knowledgeable about swim stroke progression
• strong customer service skills
• long term goals of working with the company for at least 1 year.

Benefits:

• Weekend and SOME weekdays available - but weekends are PRIORITY!
• FULL HOURLY PAY- Our swim instructors are paid through each full hour of their shift. NOT by lessons, like other swim schools. Our swim instructors are still paid hourly despite customer absences! Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour (experience based)
• Opportunity to grow in the company as the company grows!
• New and inexperienced swim instructors can be trained, but must be comfortable with children, adults, have SWIMMING EXPERIENCE and eager to learn, we will train the right individuals.
• WEEKDAY AND WEEKEND HOURS NEEDED!

COVID-19 considerations:
Social distancing practices in place for all lessons, customers wear masks at all times on the pool deck, instructors wear face shields during lessons, sanitizing equipment provided.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Swim Instructor: 1 year (Required)
• Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
