- Part Time- 24 hours/week
- The Surgical/O.R. Tech is responsible for assisting the physician with the preparation and performance of all scrub duties in the surgical procedures in Labor & Delivery.
- Performs routine technical and various other duties as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate or equivalent education.
- Certification by an entity accredited by the National Commission for Certifying
- Agencies required (must be obtained within 12 months of completing the training program).
- Maintenance of current BLS certification.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of Operating Room experience preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with detailed, confidential material, computer experience required.
- Ability to follow directions and work with precision under pressure.
- Maintains sensitivity, maturity and flexibility in coping with difficult situations.
