Position Overview:
Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department. Surgical Technician participates as a member of the perioperative team. The Surgical Technician performs direct and indirect perioperative tasks for patients having surgical procedures. The primary focus of this position is the scrub person role.

We are seeking a per-diem Surgical Technician for our Surgery Center in Sacramento, CA.

Pay Range: $33.00-$59.00 depends on experience. Typical starting pay is between $33.00 and $36.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department. The primary focus of this position is the scrub person role. Required Skills and Qualifications Education:
Completion of a formal accredited Surgical Technologist program or similar training preferred.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

CST-Certified Surgical Technologist (not required but preferred)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, equipment, and supplies.

Requires communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
