Position Summary:
The Technician Supervisor is responsible for supporting the strategies established by Pharmacy leader with their region or functional area of responsibility. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities within assigned pharmacy department area(s), supervision of staff, addressing human resource needs, ensuring compliance with policy and standard operating procedures, supporting Pharmacy Services initiatives as needed and occasional staffing as required for department operations. Work situations are varied and require acute care pharmacy practice knowledge, problem solving, decision-making, and leadership. Internal contacts include staff and management. External contacts include regulatory and accreditation agencies, and professional organizations.

Minimum Requirements:
3 years of inpatient pharmacy practice experience
Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity; in a leadership or lead pharmacy technician role preferred
Knowledge and experience with the 340B program preferred
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Associate degree; bachelor degree preferred
Licensed pharmacy technician in the State of Washington
Completion of ASHP-accredited technician training program preferred
PTCB certification (or completion within six months of entering role)
