Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining outgoing shipments, supervising pull teams, and communicating shipping delays, to ensure that all inventory is correctly processed, located, and monitored. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude with a hardworking work ethic, great attention to detail and is an exceptional team player.
Position Responsibilities:

Schedule and supervise work force to meet daily operational demands

Supervise and train employees
-
Apply interpersonal and communication skills to motivate the staff

Monitor and maintain all order processing functions, all order audit functions, all shipping functions, and orders with pending issues
-
Ensure work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized
-
Assist in maintaining security of the warehouse
-
Safely operate order picker, forklift, pallet lifter
-
Researching and reconciling order discrepancies
-
Maintain records for auditing process
-
Conduct annual performance reviews in accordance with company standards
-
Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy

Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions

Pick orders accurately, package orders and ship orders as requested by management

Ensure correct shipping information is attached on correct package and move completed orders to shipping area

Maintains area in accordance with all internal and external regulatory guidelines, i.e., OSHA, FDA, PDA, DOT, etc.

Order and maintain necessary supplies

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills

Ability to count and do simple math

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Good working knowledge of Oracle system

Good working knowledge of Filemaker Database

Efficient time management and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Practical decision making and problem solving skills

Excellent dependability and reliability
Position Qualifications:
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent
Associates degree is preferred
Experience:
-
3+ years of lead or supervisory work experience in a warehouse or inventory environment
-
2+ years of domestic and international shipping via UPS, FedEx, ONTRAC, and truck freight
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
-
Function in warehouse environment with minimal climate control
-
Lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis
-
Dexterity and visual ability to efficiently operate computer
-
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for several hours at a time
-
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
