Job description
SUMMARY:
Directs and coordinates Photochemical Milling/Chemical Etching production activities in processing materials and/or manufacturing products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews production orders, dispatch lists or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
Plans production operations, establishes priorities for manufacturing products.
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Oversee the production process to ensure efficiency and performance goals are met or exceeded.
Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Compiles, stores and retrieves production data as required for the job responsibilities.
Develops cost-effective alternatives, improvements, 5S and lean activities to improve production process.
Assists operations in budget management.
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards, including ISO/QS9001 standards.
Prepares and coordinates production personnel annual reviews with assistance from department leads.
Maintain employee safety and morale by creating safe and efficient working environment and resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to appropriate personnel for action.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven track record of managing production, preferably working in a Photochemical Milling/Chemical Etching manufacturing environment preferred but not required to be considered for this position. Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written, to support effective correspondence with internal as well as external customers/suppliers. Previous Supervisory experience is preferred. Proficient in the use of MS Office software such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks to completion. Ability to read and interpret Blueprint drawings and specifications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A High School Diploma or GED Certification and a minimum 5 years experience in Photochemical Milling/Chemical Etching field including a working knowledge of various manufacturing operations preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
