The Piggly Wiggly is looking to hire an experienced supermarket produce associates. Experience is preferred but we will be willing to train someone.

Responsibilities for Produce Associate

• Replenish stock and goods on display shelves
• Rotate products and goods according to the company's instructions
• Greet customers with a warm smile as they enter the store
• Help customers navigate their way through the store
• Create a positive and friendly environment for customers
• Assist with the customer orders by retrieving items from the relevant sections
• Remove expired products from the display
• Ensure shelves are clean and neat
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications for Produce Assistant

• Experience in safe food handling in a grocery store required
• Safe Handling Card preferred
• Pallet jack knowledge
• Basic knowledge of produce and grocery items
• Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
• Helpful and enthusiastic
• Excellent customer service and mannerism
• Friendly and approachable
• Flexible to work day, evening, and weekend shifts as required
• Able to stand and walk around for long periods at a time
• Routinely lift 10-30lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or with-out assistance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
