Specializing in battery energy storage systems, power generation, renewable energy and industrial construction. Salary: $120-150K Base salary
Job type: Direct-hire / Permanent
Location: Victorville, CA, US

What You Will Be Doing

  • Perform site visits/job walks and support the estimate.
  • Plan, coordinate and/or supervise construction activities of employees.
  • Lead daily safety meetings including safety and health compliance including PPE.
  • Ensure the project is constructed to the contract and all available scope documents, drawings, specifications, schedule as well as budget.
  • Understand and document daily time, cost codes as well as quantity and labor tracking.
  • Ability to forecast and anticipate the project needs.
  • Ensure that materials, drawings, workforce, tools, consumables, and equipment are available when needed.
  • Document daily progress through digital reporting including jobsite photos.
  • Digitally track all required installation documentation including maintaining "as-builts" for documentation, turnover, and project closeout.
  • Interface with the customer and all team members.
  • Work alongside craft and subcontractors as required.
  • Determine training needs of craft personnel and assist them in obtaining that training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • CPR certified will be required. Training can be provided.
  • Rigging certification, a plus.
  • Equipment operation certification a plus

What You Need for this Position

  • 5+ years of proven work experience and must provide detail of projects working in the power/heavy Industrial field.
  • 3+ years of proven supervisory experience and must provide detail of supervisory responsibilities on power/heavy industrial projects.
  • Familiar with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements and how they apply to industrial construction projects.
  • Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and craft employees.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills and ability to effectively manage craft employees.
  • Direct job superintendent/foreman experience.
  • Must have proof of clean driving record and current drivers license.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate using the English language sufficient to perform job functions.
  • Ability to function in a demanding and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively perform when site conditions change.
  • Operate equipment including forklift.
  • Maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, ability to kneel or squat, lift 50lbs, work from ladders and manlifts.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience preferred in MS Project, PDF modification programs and basic CAD.
