SUMMER SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION PRESCHOOL TEACHER
FOR THE INTENSIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM

DESCRIPTION:
A unique opportunity for a Special Education Teacher with early childhood experience. The special education teacher would be responsible for delivering intensive special education intervention/instruction for students with but not limited to Multiple Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Impairment, and Intellectual Disabilities. Applicant must have the ability to effectively use and supervise the implementation and progress monitoring of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Instruction (DTI). Also organization and supervision skills for scheduling and managing multiple instructional assistants.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must posses Connecticut Teaching Certificate #112, #113, or #065 or the ability to qualify, with appropriate endorsement(s).

SUPERVISED BY: School Principal

SALARY: $40/hour
