Job description

We're looking for artistic, energetic, enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team of Camp Counselors. This summer, our counselors will lead and supervise children, help organize activities and games, and promote a safe, fun and educational camp environment. The ideal candidate will get along well with others and be able to communicate effectively with group members of all ages. We're looking for candidates with a minimum of two years experience working with children in a summer camp environment, ideally in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with arts based camp programs.
• Keep records for campers and counselors.
• Work with staff, campers, counselors, and volunteers.
• Help create a welcoming environment for campers, staff, counselors, and volunteers.
• Encourage teamwork among campers and staff.
• Help children to make healthy choices.
• Maintain a clean living space for campers.

Camp sessions are from July 5-Aug 15 and operate from 7:30am-5:00 pm. Shifts will be approximately 6 hours a day Monday-Friday. We are looking for those who are able to commit to working a full camp week, Monday-Friday. Please do not apply if you can only commit to one to two days a week.
