Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing Substance Use Disorder services for the Catholic Charities Community Behavioral Health (CBHS) program; This position may provide SUD services for the CCEW Rising Strong, Integrated Case Management (ICM), or Community Behavioral Health Services programs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Provide high quality clinical SUD ASAM assessments, placements, and appropriate levels of group, individual, and family treatment to program participants.
- Provide SUD prevention intervention services as required by contract and needs of program participants.
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Provides clinical interventions and/or referrals to other providers, to assist patient in meeting treatment and level of care needs.
- Able to provide clinical interventions for case management, system coordination, patient advocacy, referral, and crisis management.
- Ensure that treatment planning and interventions are: effective, appropriate, timely, patient centered, culturally competent and age appropriate.
- All clinical and non-clinical work will show respect for patient confidentiality, safety and self-determination
- Maintain the safety, security, and confidentiality of patients and their families.
- Follows all federal and agency regulations for confidentiality and standards of care, including 42 CFR, Part 2 and HIPAA.
- Respectfully collaborates with co-workers and personnel from other agencies.
- Complete all required documentation in an accurate, complete, and timely manner per agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain charts to the WAC standards and reviews charts with supervisor as needed for client review.
- Provide wrap around services with community partners when a Consent to Treat Release is in place
- Ensure own professional development.
- Maintain licensure and/or certification requirements.
- Work effectively with outside resources including managed care, educational systems, and probation departments as directed by SUD Supervisor.
- Maintain positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.
- Uses appropriate administrative, fiscal, physical, and technical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of CCEW client protected health information (PHI), per regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and 42 CFR Pt 2.
- Will regularly utilize all forms of communication (email, text, phone, etc.) and database practices necessary for this position and as directed by supervisor.
- As a mandated reporter, follows all procedures outlined in agency policies and procedures to report to the proper agency when there is suspicion and/or confirmation that a child or adult has been a victim of abuse or neglect.
- Meet with SUD Supervisor as per WAC and program standards
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
- Associate’s Degree in Addiction Studies; or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Addiction Studies (preferred)
- Or actively enrolled in one of the above programs
Knowledge of the following:
- Motivational Interviewing
- ASAM assessment and treatment criteria
- Microsoft Office: Excel and Word
- Smart Recovery
- Women in Recovery/Families in Recovery/SUD and families
- Treatment community resources
- Recovery within communities of Indigenous and other persons of color
- Knowledge and experience with group development, CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic interventions
Certificates/Licenses: To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
- A current SUDP license in good standing from Washington State
- Valid Driver’s License
- Successfully pass background check applicable to position.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have an SUDP(T) credential in good standing and without restrictions from an accredited academic institution. Knowledge of community services. Experience working with issues of behavioral health and poverty preferred.
- If holding an SUDP(T) credential, must complete the first 50 face to face hours with direct supervision
