SHIFT LEAD- JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities of Shift Lead include, but are not limited to:
Leading & Coaching the Team
Hold the team accountable
Direct the barista station workflow and maintain quality and speed of service
Maintain confident, positive demeanor during stressful circumstances
Provide feedback and encouragement to employees
Field Team member questions and customer inquiries/complaints.
Give feedback to the manager weekly on staff development, disciplinary issues, or any customer issues.
Use good judgment to know when to contact Store Manager with emergency situations
Paperwork Tasks & Meetings
Complete Goal Charts assigned daily by ASM or Store Manager. (Smile per hour, daily sales goals, product mix, upselling charts, etc.)
Utilize the Shift Lead checklist in its entirety each shift
Provide assistance in the training of new employees
Other tasks as assigned by ASM and Store Manager at their discretion
Attend monthly/quarterly team meetings with the Store Manager and/or DM. Bring any ideas for growth, professional development needs, and questions to this meeting.
Schedule
Serve as the Manager when Store Manager is off shift
Lead and coach your team through rushes
Uphold strong customer service
Maintain store cleanliness both inside and outside
Upsell drink size, food, and drink add-ins
Hold team members accountable for all company policies and procedures
Serve as point of contact for team member questions
Maintain flexibility to work nights and weekends, 2 closing shifts are required.
Same Store Sales Growth
Work closely with Store Manager and Store Owner to maximize same store sales growth and customer retention
Uphold the integrity of the3 Amazings - amazing people, serving amazing drinks, amazingly fast
Uphold the company core values in all we do - Integrity, Love, Humility, Courage.
Upselling - of drink size, food, and drink add-ins.
Beating the Scooter’s System Averages - grow store sales at a rate that beats the Scooter’s System Average on a quarterly basis.
