Job Description

  • Schedules and oversees stockroom and SMT staff.
  • Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
  • Conducts physical inventory through daily cycle counting, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
  • Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the stockroom.
  • Creates kit pull schedule and manages resources to meet plan.
  • Manages part putaway process and window requests in accordance to expectations (both activities completed within 24 hrs).
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of stockroom practices.
  • Follow SMT schedule to sequence SMT kitting, SMT PNP and SMT secondary operations.
  • Ensures SMT kit pulls, feeder setups and job cart loads are accurate and pulled/setup in schedule order.
  • Ensures SMT kit tear downs are counted and the counts are entered into Oracle in a timely manner.
  • Develop a component and feeder verification barcoding process and implement for regular use.
  • Enforces the compliance to internal safety rules and prevention risks and adherence to all regulations

  • Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience within a plant or manufacturing environment is required. Experience with electronic products preferred.

Security: U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
