Job Description:

Stewards/Dishwashers at Yann Couvreur are essential for successful kitchen operations. This role works with the other kitchen staff to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen/restaurant. The Steward/Dishwasher sorts and cleans glassware, pots, pans, and utensils. Steward/Dishwasher must be experienced in hand washing and machine washing methods. Steward/Dishwasher are expected to keep all kitchen & walk-in refrigerator areas clean and safe.

The primary job duties of the Steward/Dishwasher include:

• Sorting glassware, pots, pans, and utensils
• Scraping, rinsing, and loading dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Washing and sanitizing all pots and pans
• Hand Washing necessary items
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the dish machine
• Unloading dishes and utensils from the dish machine and organizing them properly
• Emptying trash containers regularly
• Maintaining a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
• Performing additional cleaning duties as requested
• Cleaning food prep stations and equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
