Introduction: Alta California Geotechnical, Inc. is a geotechnical engineering consulting firm for developers and government agencies on residential, commercial and public projects in Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Bernardino Counties. We combine the disciplines of soil engineering and engineering geology on every project to provide cost-effective practical solutions, and appropriate, helpful field support during construction.

Job Summary: We have an immediate opening for a staff-level Engineering Geologist for our Corona office. Two (2) years of experience is preferred, although less will be considered.

Responsibilities will include conducting field investigations, geologic mapping, geologic observations during grading projects, preparing reports and proposals, and reviewing field technician's work.

Projected Start Date: May 2023

Location: Office and lab are in Corona, CA. Projects in Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Bernardino Counties.

Requirements:

· Education: Minimum BS in Geology or related field

· Candidates should have effective communication and technical skills, and be able to work with others and be self-motivated

· Experience in grading/construction preferred

Pay: $60,000 to $80,000 per year
