Shift: Nights - Weekend - 36 hours Saturday - Sunday and one week day 7p-7:30a

Nights - 36 hours weekly 7p-7:30a

Days - Weekend - 36 hours Saturday - Sunday and one week day 7a-7:30p

Weekend and Holiday Requirement:

Weekends:

Saturday – Sunday, every other weekend.

Weekender program is every weekend.

Holidays:

2 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving eve night, Thanksgiving day/PM, Christmas Eve night,

Christmas day/PM, New Year’s Eve night, New Year’s day/PM),

2 major summer holidays (Memorial Eve night, Memorial Day/PM, Independence Eve night,

Independence Day/PM, Labor Eve night, Labor Day/PM)

& additional celebratory days which may include (MLK, Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, Easter,

Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Day after Thanksgiving, Kwanza) as needed each calendar year.

Responsibilities:

Will Float to all Med/Surg units in the hospital.

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on med-surg units across (INSERT NAME) Hospital based on areas of greatest need

Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

Must haves:
-IL RN License

-BLS

-1 year of direct patient care experience

-ASN
