Xponential Fitness is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting department and assume responsibility for a robust set of accounting duties. We’re the largest portfolio of boutique fitness studios and are rapidly expanding across all 10 of our brands. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for multiple desk responsibilities and report to the senior accountant. We are looking for a professional with attention to detail, and willingness to want to grow and take on new desk responsibilities. The successful applicant will have to roll up their sleeve mentality, have strong open communication skills, and be a motivated team player.

This positions scope could include, but not limited to performing balance sheet, revenue, expense, and account reconciliations, as well as supporting other processes as needed. This position will require a high degree of analysis of transaction level activity.

Job Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities reflect a sample of potential activities:

· Assist with the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established close schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department

· Prepare journal entries for assigned accounting transactions

· Review revenue transactions and generate journal entries as necessary

· Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate general ledger

· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financials during each close cycle

· Create and maintain accounting schedules that support accounting journal entries and transaction details

· Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the corporate controller’s attention

· Assist with the quarterly review and annual audit requests

· Other projects and duties as required

Preferred Job Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• 2+ years of experience in general or public accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Big4 experience a plus
• CPA license or exam a plus
• Familiarity with NetSuite a plus

*Job is based out of Irvine, CA with expectation of working from office 2 to 3x per week*
