- Administer and Support Azure Cloud Services.
- Creation and Administer of Azure Roles and Permissions.
- Creation and Configuring of Azure Resources.
- Creation and Administer of Azure Policies.
- Creation of Azure VMs, Web Apps, Apps Service, Data Factory, Containers, Key Vault, etc.
- Manage Azure deployments from non-Production subscriptions to Production subscriptions and troubleshoot as needed.
- Troubleshoot a wide range of numerous Azure resource issues.
- Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server 2008 - 2022.
- Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Administer and support AWS cloud services.
- Perform server system failover/backup procedures and other recovery processes following the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Build automation that optimizes the cloud environment.
- Analyze, optimize, and implement cost-optimization actions and implement and manage automated tools to help identify cost trends and anomalies.
- Integrate applications, databases, web, backup servers, etc., and their associated software into enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Monitor and test server performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
- Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Research software and systems products to justify recommendations and support purchasing efforts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field / Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Professional certifications, such as Microsoft MCSE, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, AWS cloud Fundamentals, etc.
- 7+ years relevant work experience, including 3-5 years of experience in implementing, maintaining, and administering database environments
- Experience in implementing, maintaining, and administering database environments
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with operating systems, including Windows Server Operating Systems and Linux.
- Experience with Routing & Switching Protocols. VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with Backup and Recovery, Disaster Recovery, File Storage Optimization, and File Storage Optimization.
- Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards.
- Experience with Microsoft power shell and VBScript programming languages.
- Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
- Experience with best practices in systems planning, security principles, and general software management.
- Experience with testing, flowchart, and data mapping tools and procedures.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
