Senior Systems Engineer, JMOC Global Systems Engineering, Design, Maintenance, Sustainment and Installation Support

Summary:

The JMOC Global Systems Engineering, Design, Maintenance, Sustainment and Installation Support contract with Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) requires a qualified Senior Systems Engineer.

Salary $140,000-$144,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily technical support for the Virtual Medical Operations Center at Naval Medical Center.
• Monitor and manage all computer systems and infrastructure
• Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Provide technical direction to leadership
• Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency
• Oversee the constant availability of technical resources
• Timely reporting for rapid response to any onsite issues
• Assist Project Manager with day-to-day operations and procurement actions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Degree/Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; Experience may be substituted for education, depending on experience
• Experienced leader and proactive problem solver
• Experience in Risk Identification, Troubleshooting, Maintenance, and End User Support
• Preferred:
  • Knowledge of DOD information security protocols
• Preferred Certifications:
  • Extron Certified AV Professional, Extron Control Professional, Extron XT Professional, Daktronics factory training certification
