Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Splunk Engineer to join our team. The Senior Splunk Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Splunk solutions to monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Splunk architecture, data onboarding, and search optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Splunk solutions to monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of our services
- Design, implement, and maintain Services, KPIs and Glass Tables in Splunk ITSI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve service issues
- Analyze service metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain custom Splunk apps and integrations as needed
- Configure and manage Splunk clusters and distributed environments
- Implement data onboarding strategies to ensure timely and accurate ingestion of data
- Optimize Splunk searches and dashboards for performance and usability
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Splunk team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Must be Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect OR Splunk Certified Architect - IT Service Intelligence
- 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Splunk solutions
- Strong understanding of Splunk architecture, data onboarding, and search optimization
- Experience configuring and managing Splunk clusters and distributed environments
- Experience developing custom Splunk apps and integrations
- Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages such as Python, or Java
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

- The pay for this position ranges from $47,240 to $87,500.
