Job description
Provides administrative support across areas of production, for smooth and continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review performance and training records of production staff on multiple lines to ensure that they are appropriately trained and certified for assigned work, and may conduct SOP/procedural training.
  • Schedule work order sequencing to ensure plan is met, including maintains team performance metrics.
  • Assigned JDE Super-user, performing JDE transactions that include ordering materials from warehouse, back flush (close operations), terminate components to floor stock, generate work orders, and perform cycle counts.
  • Anticipate production issues, and develop and propose solutions.
  • Lead and participate in procedural compliance audits.
  • Escalate production and staff issues to supervisor.
  • Assist employees in accurately recording time, including escalating issues to supervisor for correction.
  • Mediate technical documentation issues directly with engineering staff.
  • On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period
  • Other incidental duties (e.g. occasional photo copying or deliveries)
Education and Experience:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent 8 years years experience directly related experience, including leading assembly work teams Required
additional previous assembly line experience in a related industry Preferred

Additional Skills:
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, JDE (or other Enterprise Resource Planning system)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong English language skills, including reading, comprehending, speaking and writing
  • Advanced level of understanding of manufacturing procedures
  • Advanced user in manufacturing software, which typically includes JDE
  • Practical application to complex problems and situations typically encountered, as well as those encountered on an exception basis
  • Expertise in a variety of work processes and/or activities typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Advanced level of understanding of and proficiency in a broad range of operational processes across multiple models and production areas (model/operation)
  • Ability to guide and improve the competency of other workers/colleagues in understanding operations and quality standards
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
  • Proven ability to complete, retain, and incorporate training coursework in the performance of new and advanced work procedures
  • Strict attention to detail in regards to work orders, scheduling, and documentation
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions, and also contribute to the development of new and alternative methodologies and approaches
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $56,800 to $80,500 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
