Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Operate any material moving equipment to move raw materials, parts and tooling throughout the shop
- Receive in shipments of raw material or shipments from outside vendors into Solar operating system and transact to production orders as needed.
- Identify p/n and s/n on raw material pending release to production orders
- Perform Solar operating system transactions to support production and complete paperwork to support shipments to outside vendors and/or other Solar Facilities.
- Process warehouse transfers.
- Miscellaneous Baan transactions to support inventory control.
- Assist Inventory Control Analyst in support of daily production requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- 6+ months of experience using a forklift
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to effectively work in a team environment
- Must demonstrate initiative, leadership, time management, and the ability to communicate effectively
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using hand tools
