Job Summary:

The preferred candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of test methodologies and practices for a variety of test equipment with applicable experience to contribute right away.

The engineer will develop test methods/processes/procedures for complex test equipment and systems, provide technical guidance, identify and analyze measurement uncertainties, become a technical liaison between departments.

Some mentoring and management oversight is expected.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Develop calibration methods, processes, and capabilities for complex test equipment and systems

Provide technical support and guidance

Identify and analyze magnitude of error sources contributing to measurement uncertainty

Review complex test stations to confirm proper test methods and accuracies

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Clearance (ATF)

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

C/C++ programming
