Job Summary

This position is responsible for end-to-end project delivery within the center (coordinates across development, testing, release, and transition to AMS) for their respective portfolios. Managing development for transform projects within the center; ensuring effective deployment of resources to leverage subject matter expert (SME) expertise and technical capability throughout project delivery; driving build vs buy decisions for new capabilities in collaboration with portfolio and business stakeholders. coordinating with vendors to oversee delivery of Statement of Work (SOW) Based Workload.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage subject matter expert (SME) resources with appropriate technical and functional expertise to support delivery of projects from the Center.
  • Coordinate deployment of technical subject matter expert (SME) resources to assist incident and problem management functions, as needed.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio teams for estimation, planning and analysis and drive physical design.
  • Coordinate with vendor resources to ensure cost effective and efficient delivery.
  • Track delivery of projects for their respective portfolios and provide required transparency to all stakeholders.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
  • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


* Bachelor and 8 years of experience managing the development and implementation of IT applications and applications systems analysis and programming activities OR 10 years of experience managing the development and implementation of IT applications and applications systems analysis and programming activities.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience in driving robust design, development and execution of new applications.
  • Experience in business-facing role with results accountability for delivery, budget, and resourcing projects. 2M+ project budgets.
  • Experience in leading dynamically and energize multidiscipline work teams to learn and apply new skills/techniques to respond to business needs.
  • Experience in building work relationships across all levels of organization.
  • Knowledge of system architecture and application portfolio plus current and emerging technologies.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation, management, and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.

*Experience in Claims Processing

*Experience in managing multiple vendor teams

*Experience in presenting to an executive leadership group
