The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering best in class marketing and our suite of differentiated products & lifestyle services (e.g. dining, travel). This team also drives the strategy, sourcing, and delivery of proprietary cash back, Cobrand, and membership rewards consumer products and enterprise benefits to American Express members, with a focus on driving daily relevance and backing in their lives.


The US Customer Marketing Enablement Team, within the US Consumer Services Group, strives to deliver marketing on behalf of the enterprise that makes American Express essential to our Card Members; specifically, responsible for redefining how we go to market faster and more efficiently. Our transformation agenda is focused on our core execution capability, made up by the people, processes, and technology which marketers use every day to reach our customers.


The Sr. Analyst, Delivery Team Leader will report to the Senior Manager of Campaign Delivery Strategy, responsible for improving the productivity, agility and sophistication of our marketing campaign operations supporting Customer Growth channels, with a focus on Digital & Value Generation. They will serve as the enablement team lead, responsible for supervising up to 6 of our contractor colleagues & supporting the execution of marketing campaigns across direct, digital, & dialogic customer channels. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst, team lead will be responsible for progressing overall process efficiency, working closely with Marketing, Technology, Enterprise Digital, and Compliance partners.


The ideal candidate will bring strong written and oral communication, project management, organization, and leadership skills —proficiencies crucial in building and launching customer marketing campaigns and implementing operational improvements that yield the best outcomes for our existing Card Members and our marketers. They are passionate about understanding how our customers behave, but also how we can pave the way for new, fundamental marketing functions that allow us to reach them effectively. Finally, this individual will be part of a team that requires collaboration, partnership, and fun!


This individual will have the opportunity to become one of the linchpins for the U.S. Customer Market team, supporting critical marketing campaigns & developing process efficiencies with impactful results. Gained perspective in marketing operations will empower the individual to assess the nuances & scope of these initiatives, resourcefully translating these marketing strategies into successful campaigns. The ideal candidate would combine their strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a collaborative environment with a passion for consumer marketing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of customer marketing campaigns designed to drive incremental revenue from spend and lend offers, handling end-to-end campaign set up and delivery.

  • Partner with marketing and operations teams to understand offer constructs, develop go to market plans, and implement new offers to engage existing customers.

  • Collaborate with partners on messaging and creative development process, owning reviews with internal partners and approvals with brand, legal and compliance.

  • Participate in campaign results analyses, understanding customer behavior and providing practical recommendations on how to improve performance against goals.

  • Assist with development of new colleagues as they join the team, mentoring junior colleagues on standard processes and support model

  • Support the implementation of new technology and or processes across the execution lifecycle


Qualifications

  • Project management experience and organization skills, with the ability to run timelines and multiple priorities to driving detailed execution

  • Strong attention to detail, serving as a process-focused problem solver

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, building and bringing to bear relationships to create solutions

  • Strong mix of analytical and critical thinking skills to implement impactful solutions that get results

  • Desire to learn and be part of a fast-paced, results-oriented, dynamic team

  • Demonstrate collaborative approaches to drive a project/initiative to completion, giving to a team culture that promotes collaboration and fun


Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
