The Horizon Account Management team is responsible for building the systems that support customer enrollment, processing and third-party vendor and communications. Who’s a great match for us?

What You’ll Do
- Work with senior engineers to define and establish test strategy and process, both manual and automated
- Work with engineering team members on understanding test frameworks, write tests and configure build workflows to automate application testing in high impact areas
- Analyze and influence team towards testing best practices to ensure optimal quality
- Set up test environments, VM’s, cloud-based services for platform testing
- Write and run automation and test scripts, author test plans and execute test cases
- Debug and respond to build failures, continuously monitor test coverage and apply testing roadmap and strategy to new product initiatives
- Perform manual testing as a prequel to automation or where automation is not applicable
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years (5 years is preferred) of experience building test automation software
- 3+ years of experience using SQL to inspect data
- 2+ years of experience with JUnit and Cucumber
- 2+ years of expertise with automated testing tools such as Selenium, or similar
- 1+ years of experience in testing RESTful and SOAP web services
- 1+ years of experience with continuous integration tools and processes, Agile delivery, and test driven (TDD) or business driven (BDD) development
- 1+ years of experience with SQL data manipulation and relational databases (Oracle or MySQL or SQL Server)
- 1+ years of experience with either Java, Python or similar programming language
- Experience with CI/CD and build systems (Jenkins, Team City or other) is nice to have
- Familiarity with auto provisioning and teardown of environments and test data is nice to have
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals
- Experience working in a modern, agile software development lifecycle using tools like Jira, Trello is preferred
- Experience with Git and tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab is preferred
- Object-oriented design experience and/or functional design experience is nice to have
- Strong interpersonal skills and a confident communicator
- Demonstrated use of testing methodologies and processes and past experience writing complex test cases
