Northland Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced Spot Welder to work for our client in Fridley, MN. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of Spot Welding experience and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements of the Spot Welder:
● Examine work pieces
● Position, align, or secure workpieces against fixtures, jugs or stops on machine beds, dies or work table
● Set up spot welding machines
● Operate spot welding machines
● Work other duties around departments
● Comfortable working in a sheet metal fabrication shop and work 4 ten hour days
Qualifications of the Spot Welder:
● Must be able to perform all operations of the punch press and spot welding machines
● Must be detail-oriented and organized
● Must be willing and wanting to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
● Ability to learn different manufacturing processes
● Must be able to lift 50 pounds
● Knowledge of basic math skills
● Must be able to read, write and speak English
