Job Title: Speech Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Speech Therapist to join our team in Canandaigua, NY. As a Speech Therapist, you will help individuals of all ages overcome communication and swallowing disorders caused by various conditions such as stroke, brain injury, hearing loss, and developmental delay. You will develop treatment plans tailored to the individual's needs, provide therapy sessions, and monitor progress to ensure positive outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and swallowing difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations
• Provide therapy sessions to individuals and/or groups using evidence-based therapy techniques
• Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on speech and swallowing disorders, treatment plans, and strategies for coping at home

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state license to practice Speech Therapy in NY
• CCC-SLP certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
