Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience facilitating the recreational program and activities for youth
- Ability to converse in English and Spanish
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Fully COVID vaccinated
Responsibilities
- Implements and facilitates recreation programs including but not limited to sports, leisure, cultural, and therapeutic-based activities. Collaborates with staff to ensure programs and activities are being completed including tracking attendance and reporting successes and/or challenges.
- Monitors and completes care and maintenance of all equipment and facilities. Monitors and ensures equipment and facilities are operated correctly. Maintains list of supplies and equipment.
- Encourages and supports adventure based recreation programs. Encourages youth participation; supervises, teaches and acts as a role model for youth.
LOCATION: COLUMBIA COUNTY, NY 20 minutes from ALBANY, NY
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $21.00 per hour
