Pay Rate of the Soldering Technician:

Soldering Technician Responsibilities:
- Solders, cleans, reworks and fabricates parts, components and subassemblies by using scopes and basic hand tools and special devices for the production of components and assemblies
- Perform hand soldering work while using a Microscope
- Wire by cutting, stripping, twisting, tinning and solders, or fastens wires, cables, resistors, capacitors and other parts and components to connectors, and assemblies
- Work in an ESD controlled work area
Soldering Technician Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to successfully complete General Production Procedures Training
- Ability to successfully complete hand solder Certification requirements
- Ability to read and understand schematic drawings, process and manufacturing instructions
- Demonstrate strong component recognition skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to cross-train to operate the varied solder equipment
