Job description
What does a Solar PV Installer do?
- Load the truck and trailer with supplies
- Travel with the crew to the job site
- Prep the roof or ground mount site
- Run wires for the system
- Install rails and solar panels
- Attach wire connectors to the panels
- Connect to the meters, inverter, disconnect, panel, and router
- Cover and label the equipment
- Test the system and explain/show the customer how to operate.
- Return back to the shop, unload the truck and turn in any paperwork to the office
- Learn to install all types of solar systems over time- Pool, DHW Hot Water, Attic fans
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
